Too Bright, Too Dark… Pick A Side
If your highlights are blown or your shadows are completely black, detail is gone. Not hiding… gone.
Pure white and pure black have their place, but most images need information in those areas.
If you cannot see detail when you zoom in, your print definitely will not.
Tone it back slightly. Let your image breathe.
